Ending the Relationship & Jurisdiction
We start by evaluating what the separation means for you practically and emotionally. In this phase, we also determine which laws apply to your marriage, property, and children. If children are involved, we immediately lay the groundwork for the legally required parenting plan.

Housing, Finances, and International Assets
Once stability is established, we discuss financial consequences. This includes the division of properties (for example in the Netherlands or abroad), bank accounts, international pensions, and debts. We also prepare and clearly explain the official child and partner alimony calculations under Dutch standards and guidelines.

Legal Finalization via our In-House Attorney
Once all agreements are mutually approved, they are formally drafted into a divorce covenant (echtscheidingsconvenant) and a parenting plan (ouderschapsplan). During our final session, our dedicated in-house attorney joins us to review the documents. The attorney then handles the formal procedure with the Dutch District Court.
